MoU signed to train future nonprofit leaders in Saudi Arabia

The King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation and the University of New Haven signed a memorandum of understanding in Riyadh to develop one of the Kingdom’s first specialized academic tracks in nonprofit leadership.

The partnership also includes scholarships for outstanding Saudi students, helping develop national talent to support the growth of the nonprofit sector and advance the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Under the MoU, the two sides will develop a specialized bachelor’s track in nonprofit leadership and humanitarian work, expected to be offered as part of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at the University of New Haven — Riyadh. The program is set to become one of the Kingdom’s first specialized academic tracks in the field.

The agreement also provides scholarships for outstanding Saudi students, funded by the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation in coordination with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.
