The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved the public offerings of the GIB MENA ESG Equity Fund and Albilad Sukuk Fund by GIB Capital Company and Albilad Investment Company (Albilad Capital), respectively.

The two approvals were issued on 18 December 2022, according to a bourse filing.

Founded in April 2008, GIB Capital is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gulf International Bank (GIB). The firm provides the Bahrain-based lender with a range of investment banking products and services that are developed to secure advanced and customised financial and investment solutions for clients.

Meanwhile, Albilad Capital is headquartered in Riyadh and operates with a paid-up capital of SAR 200 million. It offers a number of investment services and solutions for individuals as well as institutional and corporate customers.

Albilad Capital, which is also established in 2008, is licensed by the Saudi CMA.
