Saudi Arabia-based Ajdan, the developer behind the Ajdan Waterfront in the Kingdom’s Eastern Province, has signed an agreement with the Public Investment Fund-backed giga-project developer ROSHN to sub-develop over 270 villas within SEDRA mixed-used community in Northeast Riyadh.

The agreement covers the development of a total of 80,754 square metres of land within Sedra’s prime locations, Ajdan said in a press statement.

The deal value wasn’t disclosed.

Sedra will be home to over 2,100 residential units as well as public parks, playgrounds, entertainment areas, retail, community centres, schools, a sports hub, mosques, health clinics, and restaurants and cafes once completed, the statement said.

Earlier this month, Saudi Real Estate Company (Al Akaria) announced that it had purchased land under a development obligation with ROSHN for 323.7 million Saudi riyals ($86.09 million).
