Details

The objectives of the Royal Saudi Air Force in implementing this project are: ‌A. Install and operate four (4) Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) according to the specifications approved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), ensuring the implementation of all technical requirements necessary for system operation as per the distribution in the table below. ‌B. Install and operate one (1) Navigational Aid (DVORTAC) as per the specifications approved by GACA and ICAO, ensuring all technical requirements for system operation are met as detailed in the distribution table below. ‌C. Perform all infrastructure works for the navigational aids systems and equip them with a modern fiber optic network. ‌D. Execute foundation works (reinforced concrete for foundations) for the systems according to the standards approved by GACA and ICAO. ‌E. Transfer, install and operate radio antennas from the air traffic control tower to the radio antenna tower at Prince Sultan Air Base in the central sector.
