In March 2023, SACO began a strategic shift focusing on digital transformation and online growth. Although sales initially declined in early 2024, they rebounded strongly by the third quarter, even without new store openings. Online sales increased by 60% in 2024 and jumped 90% in January 2025.

New Product Categories

Beyond traditional hardware, SACO expanded its inventory to include furniture and appliances such as air conditioners, TVs, and washing machines. In December 2024, indoor furniture sales rose 70% compared to November. Experts estimate the value of Saudi Arabia’s indoor furniture market at SAR 35 billion annually.

Saudi Company for Hardware has been listed on the Saudi stock exchange since 2015. The company employs over 2,000 people and maintains ISO-certified operations. In financial terms, SACO moved from losses in 2022–2023 to improved profitability by late 2024.
