Saudi Arabia on Monday condemned “repeated and heinous Iranian attacks” on Kuwait.

Kuwait’s air defenses intercepted Iranian missile and drone attacks on Monday, while Washington said it had downed two Iranian missiles targeting US forces in the country.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry said the Kingdom emphasizes its categorical rejection of such attacks, which violate the sovereignty of Kuwait in clear contravention of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

“It affirms that these violations undermine international efforts aimed at restoring security and stability to the region,” a statement said.

The Kingdom also expressed its solidarity with Kuwait, its government and people, reiterating its full support for all measures taken by Kuwait to preserve its sovereignty, security, stability, and people.
