Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended his condolences on Monday to Nasser Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi after the passing of his father, former Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
The former president died on Thursday aged 80 in Riyadh.
He was Yemen’s president from 2012 until 2022, when he transferred his powers to the Presidential Leadership Council as part of efforts to advance a political process to end conflict in the country.
During a phone call with his son, the crown prince expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy over the death of the former president and prayed that God have mercy on the deceased, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Hadi expressed his deep gratitude to Prince Mohammed for his condolences and prayed that God reward him abundantly, SPA added.
