Prince William, the Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne, arrived in AlUla governorate on Tuesday.
Upon his arrival at Al-Ula International Airport, the Prince of Wales was received by Prince Salman bin Sultan, emir of Madinah; Maj. Gen. Yousef Al-Zahrani, police chief of the region; Ibrahim Barri, director of the Royal Protocol Office in the region; and a number of other officials.
Kensington Palace revealed on Monday that Prince William will be briefed on the efforts to preserve wildlife and the unique natural environment in Al-Ula during his visit. The visit will also include participation in activities focused on economic reforms, cultural initiatives, and environmental programs, as well as visits to projects related to women’s sports and esports.
