Fifteen Saudi companies, specialising in the plastic and petrochemical industries, are participating in the 19th edition of plastics and rubber exhibition, Plastex 2024, being held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, a report said.

The exhibition, where more than 500 companies from 50 Arab and other countries, are taking part, is showcasing modern plastic and rubber products, Saudi Press Agency said.

The participants will seek access to the Egyptian and African markets, knowledge exchange, better cooperation, and explore the latest innovations and technologies in the plastics and petrochemical industry.

The exhibition also aims to shed light on sustainable and environment friendly products, establish partnerships and open new markets in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as to review the latest technologies, sustainable practices, and leading trends in the plastics and rubber market.
